Sheryl Lynn Macauley

Sheryl was born in Pasadena to Joyce and Norman Wright and raised in Long Beach, California. She was an active and creative child. She attended Biola University for a year and then embarked upon upon her career as a nail technician and artist. She developed and designed numerous new styles of nail art. She competed in nail art shows across the country and taught nail art nationally and internationally. She won many awards for her creative designs. Sheryl also wrote articles for national nail magazines, as well as contributed to a book with her father, Making Peace with Your Mom and illustrated two of her dad’s books on fishing. She met her husband Bill, a fireman, and they were married in 1988. They moved to Bakersfield, where Bill joined the city fire department. They adopted their daughter Shaelyn in October 2001.
Sheryl was very close to her mother, who preceded her in death in 2007, and she was very influenced in her walk and relationship with the Lord by her mother and grandmother. Sheryl struggled with her health the past few years, but her passing was unexpected. She leaves behind her husband Bill, daughter Shaelyn, as well as numerous relatives and friends
